Imported employee profiles from your updated Excel. Edit employee names, target hours, and maximum weekly hours directly in the table, even after marking a schedule published. Assigned shifts retain their employee IDs, so corrected names appear automatically. Then select an employee below to review AM/PM availability and exact hours.

Set Galiana’s guest opening time for each day and the earliest shift start allowed by position. Opening at 3 PM does not mean every employee starts at 3 PM. Busser and bartender prep shifts may begin at 1 PM. These rules are applied when adding staffing requirements and assigning shifts.

Manager changes are saved to Netlify Database. Published schedules are available in the employee portal. Importing a backup requires manager access and preserves a server-side copy of the prior state.
It schedules complete staffing blocks without splitting them. Each candidate must match the required role, be available for the entire block, avoid overlapping shifts, and remain under their weekly maximum. Among eligible people, it favors employees furthest below their weekly target and with fewer hours already assigned. When no one qualifies, it leaves a visible coverage gap instead of breaking a constraint.
Employee access is restricted to published schedules and time-off requests. Shift swaps and notifications are not enabled.
